How it works
Your battery powers more than the starter
Every start, every light, the radio, your phone charger and every computer in a modern car run off the battery. Start-stop cars and newer cars with lots of electronics need the right battery and a proper reset after fitment. That's why we test the whole system, not just the battery.

Fitment, a full battery test and a charging system check usually take 15 to 20 minutes. Standard fitment is free; complex fitments that take longer may carry a labour charge, which we'll tell you upfront.

Common questions
Do I need to make an appointment?
No. Just drive in during opening hours. We test your battery, fit a new one if you need it, and you're usually on your way in 15 to 20 minutes.
How long does a battery fitment take?
Most fitments, including a full battery test and charging system check, take 15 to 20 minutes at our Goodwood workshop.
Is fitment free?
Yes, standard fitment is free when you buy your battery from us, and it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. Complex fitments that take longer than about 20 minutes may carry a labour charge, depending on how complex the job is. We'll always tell you upfront.
Will you fit a battery I bought somewhere else?
Yes, we can, but free fitment is only for batteries bought from us. Fitting a battery bought elsewhere carries a labour charge, which we'll tell you before we start.
Do you test batteries for free?
Yes. Drive in for a free battery, cranking and charge rate test. If your battery is fine, we'll tell you.
Which battery brands do you sell?
